Document Quality

Document quality defines auxipro.net service. Unlike our competitors, we have a multi-level, consistent, clear, and transparent quality process. Most transcription services tell you their quality is high, but very few can give you a clear explanation of their quality process or provide you with statistically reliable data for each client, editor, and transcriptionist. We can. From January to April of 2009, we averaged 98.3% delivered accuracy for all of our clients.

Of course, numbers mean very little without context. We use the AAMT (currently called AHDI) Metrics for Measuring Quality. This national board sets clear standards concerning format, acceptable abbreviations, correct punctuation, and medical terminology. By using these national standards as the foundation of our quality program, we can guarantee a consistent product because all of our transcriptionists and editors are trained in and follow this system.

We also provide additional, recurrent training to both our transcriptionists and editors in regard to English grammar and usage as well as medical terminology. Our internally developed and copyrighted lessons in grammar, punctuation, and word usage ensure that you receive the very best quality product possible. These lessons include instruction, assessment, and evaluation and have been developed by a highly trained professional educated both in medical terminology and the English language.

However, auxipro.net understands that accuracy requires more than simply meeting our minimum requirement of 98% accuracy, a standard set by the AAMT/AHDI. It also requires meeting customer expectations. This is why we emphasize working directly and continuously with our customers to ensure we know what matters most to you, and we deliver results that meet client-defined standards and expectations.

Our multi-level quality process begins with highly trained transcriptionists. Each document then moves to two different quality assurance specialists who edit the document to ensure accuracy. This quality process requires a low ratio of transcriptionists to editors, something you aren't going to find with most of our competitors. auxipro.net is committed to providing this personal attention to every one of our clients.

Unlike other transcription companies, our quality process does not stop here. We perform weekly reports in which a random sample of a client's volume is reviewed and assessed by our quality assurance program director. The accuracy of each document is calculated by using a rubric from the AAMT/AHDI that designates point penalties for errors that include medical terminology, grammar, and punctuation. In addition, auxipro.net penalizes for failure to follow each client's specific quality standards and requests. Through this review process, we are able to calculate the accuracy for our clients. So, when we say we guarantee 98%, we are able to back that guarantee up with a scientific, transparent, consistent system. Best of all, our average for the first quarter of 2009 has been 98.3%.

At auxipro.net, we know that you don't settle for minimum quality medical care for your patients, so why should you settle for minimum quality medical transcription? We don't think you should have to, and we're proud to deliver reliably superb transcription services. But don't just take our word, here is what our clients think about us.
